Agustin Ramos, MD, FAAP, FACC

Dr. Ramos is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist. He received his degree, cum laude, from the University of Barcelona School of Medicine. He completed a pediatric internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center and a pediatric residency followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. He also completed a research fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Ramos is Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) at the University of Florida. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ramos is former President of the Florida Association of Pediatric Cardiologists, member of the board of Directors of the American Heart Association (Central Florida Chapter), Pan American Medical Association of Central Florida and past Chairman of the department of Pediatrics at Florida Hospital. Dr. Ramos has been in practice in Orlando since 1981 and resides in Longwood with his wife and four children.

Jorge A. Garcia, MD, FAAP, FACC

Dr. Garcia is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist since 1996. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central Quito, Ecuador in 1985. His post-graduate activities include a pediatric internship and residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He also completed a four-year pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Garcia’s last year of fellowship was dedicated to non-invasive cardiology including fetal and transesophageal echocardiography.

Dr. Garcia is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the American Heart Association, American Society of Echocardiography and Pan American Medical Association. He is a co-Director of non-invasive cardiology at Florida Hospital and has been associated with PCC since 1999.

Lorraine Woodward, CPNP

Lorraine Woodward, CPNP is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is licensed by the State of Florida as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Baccalaureate of Sciences degree in Nursing at The University of Florida in Gainesville in 2001. She has worked for Florida Hospital since 2002, both in cardiovascular nursing and then pediatrics. In 2007, she completed her Masters of Science in Pediatric Nursing at the University of Central Florida, with honors. Lorraine is Vice President of the Orlando Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and is also member of the Central Florida Pediatrics Society.
